NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
WHEREAS, Ellen C. Farmer a/k/a Catherine Farmer, by Deed of Trust (the “Deed of Trust”)
dated May 4, 2016, of record in Book 570A, Page 2669-2671, Register’s Office for Greene
County, Tennessee, conveyed to Richard L. Norris, Trustee, the hereinafter described real property
to secure the payment of a certain Promissory Note (the “Note”) described in the Deed of Trust,
which Note was payable to Tri-Cities Finance and;
WHEREAS, said Richard L. Norris, Trustee, is unable to act as Trustee under the Deed of Trust,
and I have been appointed Substitute Trustee by the owner and holder of the Note by an
Appointment of Successor-Trustee, of record in Book 763A, Page 1720, Register’s Office for
Greene County, Tennessee;
WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of the Note; and
WHEREAS, the owner and holder of the Note has demanded that the hereinafter described real
property be advertised and sold in satisfaction of indebtedness and costs of foreclosure in
accordance with the terms and provisions of the Note and Deed of Trust.
NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that I, Mark D. Edmonds, Substitute Trustee,
pursuant to the power, duty and authority vested in and conferred upon me, by the Deed of Trust,
will on April 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Greene County Courthouse, specifically 101 South
Main Street, Greeneville, Tennessee 37743, offer for sale to the highest bidder for cash, and free
from all legal, equitable and statutory rights of redemption, exemptions of homestead, rights by
virtue of marriage, and all other exemptions of every kind, all of which have been waived in the
Deed of Trust, certain real property located in the 17th Civil District of Greene County, Tennessee,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set in the southeasterly margin of Oss Williams Road,
northwesterly corner of Moody (Deed Book 413, page 307), said point being approximately
650 feet from the intersection of Oss Williams Road and Thornburg Lane; thence with
Moody’s line S 03-00-00 W 775.74 feet to a post; thence continuing with Moody’s line S 54-
01-19 W 312.73 feet to an iron stake in the line of Gross (Deed Book 354, page 6(3); thence
with Gross’ line N 28-55-45 W 170.27 feet to an iron pin set; thence continuing with Gross’
line S 50-05-56 W 56.43 feet to a post, corner to Gross (Deed Book 371, page 506); thence
with Gross’ line N 28-18-56 W 306.96 feet to an iron pin set in the southeasterly margin of
Oss Williams Road; thence with the southeasterly margin of Oss Williams Road the following
courses and distances: N 47-13-29 E 154.65 feet to an iron pipe set; N 55-25-29 E 256.76 feet
to an iron pipe set; N 44-53-09 E 74.29 feet to an iron pipe set; N 28-07-15 E 164.45 feet to an
iron pipe set; N 36-18-20 E 88.98 feet to a point; and N 46-05-08 E 79.63 feet to the point or
place of beginning, containing 6.11 acres, more or less, as shown on survey by Doak Clifton
Bowman, RLS 86, D.C. Bowman, County Surveyor, P.O. Box 665, Greeneville, Tennessee
37744, entitled “Property of Allen and Teresa Ford” dated September 19, 2000, to which
reference is hereby made for a more particular description.
AND BEING the same property conveyed to Ellen C. Farmer a/k/a Catherine Farmer from
Melinda Huddleston, Latonya Huddleston, Michelle Huddleston, Charly Huddleston,
Stephanie Stover and Deborah J. Huddleston a/k/a Debbie Huddleston by Warranty Deed
date April ____ 2016 @ ____ ___.m, of record in Book 570A, page 2664, Register’s Office for
Greene County, Tennessee.

The address of the above-described property is 1090 Oss Williams Road, Limestone, TN 37681.
No liens or claimed liens of the United States are identified pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. §35-5-
104(a) with respect to which notice is required to be given to the United States in order for the sale
of the land advertised not be subject to such lien or claim of lien of the United States.
No liens or claimed liens State of Tennessee has been identified pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. §35-
5-104(a) with respect to which notice is required to be given to the State of Tennessee in order for
the sale of the land advertised not be subject to such lien or claim of lien of the State of Tennessee.
The sale of the land thus advertised will be subject to the right of the State to redeem the land as
provided for in T.C.A. §67-1-1433(c)(1).
Said sale shall be held subject to the following:
1. Any unpaid city, county or state taxes which may be a lien against such property.
2. Any matters encumbering such property which have priority over the Deed of Trust.
The right is reserved to adjourn the day of the sale to another day, time, and place certain without
further publication, upon announcement at the time and place for the sale set forth above.
If the highest bidder cannot pay the bid within twenty-four (24) hours of the sale, the next highest
bidder will be deemed the successful bidder.
This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.
